Privacy
Effective date: 12 August 2026.
FIMH respects user privacy and follows a data-minimization approach. Personal data is processed only when necessary to provide, secure, operate and support FIMH services and the features selected by users.
When you use FIMH, the platform may process information such as your name, email address, account and session information, preferences, content metadata, connected-service information and technical data required to provide requested functionality.
If you choose to connect a Google or YouTube account, FIMH may receive and process information that you explicitly authorize through Google OAuth. Depending on the feature you use, this may include basic account identity information, YouTube channel information, connection status, authorization tokens and information required to perform the Google/YouTube actions requested by you.
Google user data is used only to provide user-facing FIMH features requested or enabled by the user, including connecting an account, verifying connection health, accessing authorized channel information, and performing authorized publishing or related platform operations.
FIMH does not sell Google user data and does not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting or data-broker purposes. FIMH handles data obtained through Google APIs in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy and its Limited Use requirements.
Account, connection and authorization information is protected with access controls and appropriate technical and organizational security measures. Data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide requested functionality, maintain security, satisfy applicable legal obligations or resolve legitimate disputes.
FIMH may use infrastructure and technical service providers where necessary to operate the platform. Personal or Google user data is shared only where necessary to provide requested functionality, maintain security, comply with applicable law, or where the user has authorized the disclosure.
Users may disconnect connected services and may request deletion of eligible personal data. For privacy questions, data requests or matters concerning connected Google services, contact privacy@fimh.org.
